Advait Energy Transitions Limited completed a high-altitude OPGW installation of 235 km at nearly 12,000 ft, establishing a new benchmark in India’s transmission and fibre infrastructure sector. Executed in –15°C temperatures and under full live-line conditions, the project required advanced tension-stringing systems, specialised OPGW hardware, and expert high-altitude engineering capabilities. This project significantly improves grid reliability, fibre-optic communication, and network resilience, strengthening India’s power transmission and digital infrastructure in one of its most challenging mountain regions.
